With an overwhelming amount of information and news these days, this blog is here to get straight to it. Most Marvel fans don’t play when it comes down to their favorite titles so here’s the straight delivery of updates in regards to Venom 2– we’re talking title, teasers and confirmed date.

Originally Venom 2 was slated for October 2020. It’s currently the end of April and it doesn’t seem like we’re going anywhere anytime soon (literally and figuratively). Because of precautions taken to curve the the medical crisis of the world release dates for almost every film has been delayed. If matters soothe, studio says Venom 2 shows June 25, 2021. Close to a year later but to avoid a weak watch we’ll wait.

The sequel now has an official title. What we knew as Venom 2 is now Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The title was revealed in the short teaser clip posted by Tom Hardy which you can watch below. The new title clues the introduction of the super psycho Carnage for the coming film. Carrying on what we saw in the post credit scene of the original Venom directed by Ruben Fleishcher. The ambitious strife between anti-hero Venom and comic antagonist Cletus Kasady is now in the plot light.

This follow up film will be directed by Andy Serkis with Kelly Marcel on screenplay. In the cast we’ll see Tom Hardy in lead just as we did in 2018 as Eddie Brock/ Venom, Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady/ Carnaige, Michelle WilliamsReid Scott and Naomi Harris.

And before you go there’s one more salivating tease. Right after the release of the mini trailer, Tom Hardy posted to his instagram a fan art of Venom devouring Spider Man. His usual content but this maybe a clue to what’s coming in 2021. The art was uploaded for a brief minute then quickly deleted. Say “Hi” Screen Shot. The artist is unknown but get a look at this hotness!
