When the love for film and pizza collide we get Friday nights full of hot fresh flicks, education and entertainment. The Russo Brothers are hosting a weekly Instagram series titled ‘Russo Bros. Pizza Film School’ that will feature special guest each week to talk movie business with fans. The series begins this Friday, May 15.

Inspiration for the Russo Bros Pizza Film School came from their personal quarantine practice of family movie night. The brothers posted their new endeavor on Instagram with a caption that gave the plans of what’s to come for the next few weeks. The idea to get everyone involved on IG Live, appreciating the nostalgia of classic films that influenced them the most growing up, contributing to their dream to become directors.

Here’s how it’s going to go: Starting next Friday the Russo Brothers will announce a #Movieoftheweek via Instagram every Friday. Giving movie lovers a full week to watch, rewatch and watch again with their families before getting on LIVE the following Friday to discuss the film. The live will present special guest and pizza from some of the Russo’s beloved and local restaurants.

The first movie of the week was announced last Friday, getting the series started for the first IG LIVE this coming Friday (the 15th). 1995’s ‘LA HAINE’ directed by Matthieu Kassovitz gets the spotlight for the first episode of Russo Bros Pizza Film School which will feature award-winning film critic and commentator Pete Hammond.

LA HAINE is available on Amazon Prime Video and ITunes Movie. Watch that this week and we’ll meet up May 15 at 8pm EST /5p.m PT on @therussobrothers Instagram live.
