The Mandalorian comes for Season 2 and cast calls A-List actress Rosario Dawson for a fan-favorite character, Ahsoka Tano.
Disney Plus Star Wars spinoff, The Mandalorian has been a hit for the stream service. As it returns for a second season Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi padawan, alien apprentice is set be portrayed by Rosario Dawson, according to Variety.
Dawson will be the first live-action appearance of this character as she has only been featured in the animated television series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and “Star Wars: Rebels.”
“The Mandalorian” takes place five years after the “Return of the Jedi” and right before “The Force Awakens”. Following the adventures of a Pedeo Pascal-a hunter who protects Yoda from being captured by the Imperial Empire.
Season 1 left their audience flying into another galaxy looking for baby Yoda’s home planet. What’s to come for Season 2 awaits us this fall as creator Jon Favreau confirmed.
